Qualifications

• 7+ years in security with hands-on AppSec.
• Built or matured an AppSec program with reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability management.
• Strong knowledge of secure software design and OWASP.
• Able to read code and work with engineers on remediation.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading security initiatives while remaining hands-on.
• Ability to evaluate AI-assisted security tools and automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the application security roadmap, including vulnerability management and remediation for new features.
• Conduct hands-on security reviews and triage vulnerabilities with engineering teams.
• Embed security-by-default in the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement an AI-first application security strategy and validation processes.
• Partner with engineering to avoid delivery bottlenecks while improving security.
