Job summary

Terma Group seeks a Senior Integration Specialist to lead design, development and maintenance of integrations across on-premises systems. You will own the integration platform, ensuring reliable, secure data exchange and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Fluent English required; Danish is an advantage. You will work in a team of data engineers and an MDM specialist, in an international, high-tech environment that values learning, flexibility and impactful contributions.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information technology or software engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience with integration landscapes and data exchange.
• Strong understanding of traditional integration patterns: batch, ETL, file transfer, message queues.
• Experience with middleware and high-uptime environments.

Your role in our team

As our new Senior Integration Specialist, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations across diverse on-premises systems. Moreover, you will own and govern the integration platform ensuring that different business applications, systems, databases, and platforms can communicate and exchange data reliably, securely, and efficiently, in close collaborations with your team.

Our team today consists of 4 data engineers that focus on data quality, integration and deliverables as well as 1 master data management (MDM) specialist. Our team is characterized by close collaboration – also with the rest of IT as well as our biggest stakeholders across Terma.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include a diverse set of assignments and may include:

• Identify opportunities to modernize integrations and reduce technical debt
• Oversee integration monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Define best practices for integration in legacy environments

Bring your world class expertise into play

You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering or a similar field of study
• Proven experience working with integration landscapes
• Strong understanding of traditional integration patterns (batch processing, ETL, file transfer, message queues)
• Experience with middleware
• Experience working in environments with high stability and uptime requirements
• Ability to balance operational reliability with modernization initiatives

You enjoy tackling complex challenges and can analyze issues logically, with a structured and methodical approach and identify practical solutions. You have good communication skills, as well as experience with stakeholder management and can connect technical solutions to organizational goals, with focus on value, efficiency, and user impact.
