Job summary

Complir is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own the product surface where compliance work actually gets done for Europe’s biggest retailers and brands. You’ll design data models and APIs, then build the surface itself, presenting model output with confidence and citations so compliance managers can act quickly.

Our stack is Next.js and TypeScript for the app, React + Vite for plugins, NestJS and Inngest on the backend, PostgreSQL, hosted on Vercel and Azure.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with several years shipping production fullstack applications, fluent in TypeScript and at home in React and Next.js.
• Strong frontend judgment with opinions on component APIs and interaction detail.
• Product-minded: cares what the user is trying to do and pushes back when product shape isn’t right.
• Experience with LLM-powered systems: RAG, embeddings, and orchestrating multiple models in a workflow.
• Treat model output as an engineering problem: evals, grounding, and failure modes, not vibes.

Responsibilities

• Build new user-facing features end to end: data model, API, and UI components users touch.
• Own the frontend craft: architecture, state, performance, and the finished feel of the UI.
• Ship features deeply integrated with LLMs.
• Turn a compliance expert’s judgment into scalable pipelines with legible outputs for non-experts.
• Work directly with customers and founders to decide what to build next and then implement it.
• Shape architecture, tooling, and engineering culture as the team grows.
