Job summary

emagine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Python Developer to support the continued development and scaling of an AI-enabled application. The role focuses on backend development, AI engineering and Azure cloud technologies within the pharmaceutical sector.

You will develop Python-based backend services and APIs, build AI/LLM solutions, and contribute to frontend features with React/TypeScript when required. The project uses Terraform for Azure infra, PostgreSQL and Databricks, and requires strong

Qualifications

• Strong Python development and backend API design experience.
• Experience developing and integrating AI/LLM-based solutions.
• Strong Azure cloud experience.
• Hands-on Terraform, Docker and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong PostgreSQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with authentication and identity management.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability.
• Experience supporting applications in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs.
• Build and integrate AI/LLM-based solutions, including agent-based capabilities.
• Improve AI solution performance, reliability, latency and output quality.
• Develop frontend features using React and TypeScript when required.
• Build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with PostgreSQL, SQL, Docker and containerised services.
• Implement and support authentication and authorisation solutions.
• Integrate application and AI services with Databricks.
• Improve monitoring, logging and observability.
• Support production environments, including troubleshooting, performance optimisation and releases.
• Contribute to automated testing and engineering documentation.
