Sinal is evolving its Finance and Controlling function into a strategic partner for IT & Technology. As Senior Finance Business Partner you will collaborate with IT & Technology leaders to challenge investments and translate financial insights into action, helping shape a new strategic era.

You will build strong relationships, deliver transparent reporting, and drive value creation in a technically complex environment, while ensuring early involvement in key business decisions.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in a similar Senior Finance/Business Partner role.
• Ability to understand the business, challenge assumptions, and translate insights into actions.
• Comfort working in a technical environment and partnering with IT & Technology.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT & Technology leaders on budgets, forecasts and investments.
• Challenge business cases to ensure investments create value.
• Monitor CapEx/OpEx, identify risks and opportunities.

As our Senior Finance Business Partner you will join our Finance and Controlling department. More specifically, you will join a team consisting of 11 Colleagues including Senior Business Controllers, Senior Financial Controllers, Trainees, Student Assistants and Financial controllers.

As we are entering a new strategy period, we are looking for a proactive Senior Finance Business Partner to help accelerate this journey and strengthen our partnership with one of our most business-critical areas: IT & Technology (IT&T).

IT & Technology is responsible for developing the technologies and investments that underpin our fiber network and future ambitions. Here, your role extends far beyond the numbers. You will challenge current ways of thinking, drive greater financial transparency, and act as a trusted sparring partner to our managers in IT & Technology.

The Position

As our new Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be a key partner to IT & Technology. You will be responsible for supporting and challenging business decisions, ensuring transparency around investments and costs, and helping the organization make informed, value-creating choices. With a proactive mindset, you will build strong relationships across the business and drive close collaboration between Finance and IT & Technology, ensuring that financial insights are translated into actions that support our strategic ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with IT & Technology leaders on budgets, forecasts, and investment decisions.
• Challenge business cases and help ensure technology investments create value.
• Monitor and follow up on CapEx and OpEx spend, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Develop reporting and financial insights that support decision-making.
• Identify trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
• Improve financial processes and strengthen transparency around costs and investments.
• Support financial planning and ensure Finance is involved early in key business decisions.

Senior Finance Business Partner ready to shape a strategic transformation at the core of our business?

We are looking for a proactive Senior Finance Business Partner with at least 5–6 years of experience from a similar role. You are driven by understanding the business, challenging assumptions, and turning financial insights into actions and results. At the same time, you are comfortable working in a technical environment, building strong relationships with stakeholders across IT & Technology and translating complex topics into clear financial perspectives that support better decisions.
