Job summary

BWSC, a leading engine-based EPC contractor, seeks a Senior EPC Proposal Project Manager to join the Service Proposals team in Allerød, Denmark. You will lead and coordinate the proposal process from opportunity qualification to submission and handover.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, drive cost estimation, ensure alignment of technical, commercial, and customer requirements, and deliver competitive EPC solutions for global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marine Engineering or similar.
• Experience with design, operation, maintenance or development of diesel engine-based power plants. Knowledge with gas conversion projects or biomass-based boiler plants is a plus.
• Proven EPC proposal management experience.
• Strong cost estimation and commercial calculation skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in MS Office/MS Project.
• Structured, proactive and collaborative approach.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the entire EPC proposal process from opportunity qualification to submission and project handover.
• Managing multidisciplinary proposal teams and stakeholders across the organization to develop competitive and high-quality technical and commercial solutions.
• Coordinating contributions from engineering and other key functions and ensuring relevant technical, contractual, quality, and QHSE requirements are reflected in proposal solutions and documentation
• Driving cost estimation and calculations, proposal quality, planning, and stakeholder alignment throughout the proposal lifecycle.
• Supporting knowledge sharing and the successful handover of awarded projects to execution.

The position

As our new Senior EPC Proposal Project Manager, you will become part of the Service Proposals organization and report to the Head of Service Proposals. This newly established position supports BWSC's ambitious plans to re-enter the EPC market for engine power plants.

Working in close collaboration with Sales Managers and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the proposal process from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and project handover. You will play a central role in developing competitive EPC solutions, ensuring alignment between technical, commercial, and customer requirements

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating the entire EPC proposal process from opportunity qualification to submission and project handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marine Engineering or similar as a minimum.
• Experience with design, operation, maintenance or development of diesel engine-based power plants. Knowledge with gas conversion projects or biomass-based boiler plants is a plus.
• Proven EPC proposal management experience.
• Strong cost estimation and commercial calculation skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in MS Office/MS Project.
• Structured, proactive and collaborative approach.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
