Job summary

AGC Biologics, a Danish CDMO, seeks a Senior Downstream Scientist for Late-stage Process Development. You will lead downstream development for mammalian and microbial systems, drive experiments, and deliver reports for regulatory submissions.

The role requires a PhD or Master’s with extensive industrial downstream experience, excellent communication, and English fluency. Søborg site, on-site with cross-functional collaboration across Europe, US, and Japan.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Biochemistry, (Bio)chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or similar.
• 5+ years (Master's) or 2+ years (PhD) of relevant industrial experience in downstream development.
• Experience planning and reporting complex development studies with statistics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead downstream aspects of development projects with mammalian and/or microbial lines.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to complete projects on time.
• Design and execute sophisticated experiments and present results clearly.
• Author protocols and development reports; contribute to risk assessments (FMECAs).
• Provide scientific and technical support to the business.
• Coordinate activities across disciplines as needed.
