Job summary

AGC Biologics is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead downstream development for mammalian cell culture. You will design studies, interpret data and guide experiments, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver decision‑quality results.

You will work with technicians to develop protocols, apply DoE and statistics, and contribute to process characterization and regulatory documentation as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant bioscience field.
• 5+ years with a Master or 2+ years with a PhD in industry.
• Experience in downstream development of mammalian cell culture.
• Experience with chromatography and filtration processes.
• Strong data analysis and DOE knowledge.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate downstream development activities for projects.
• Plan and evaluate downstream processes including chromatography and filtration.
• Design studies and author practical protocols with technicians.
• Interpret results and communicate findings through presentations and reports.
• Contribute to process characterization and PC reports.
• Support investigations and deviation handling.
• Provide input to business activities and regulatory submissions.
