Job summary

Vattenfall in Denmark is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead OT/SCADA projects that support a fossil-free future. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, risks, and ensure delivery with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and value realization.

Qualifications

• Educated in Electrical Engineering or automation engineering and in project management disciplines.
• Experience with automation and control systems and data pipelines in energy sector.
• Experience across onshore/offshore technology, high voltage electrical systems and construction projects, OT & IT technical project/program management skills from Wind, BESS or PV industry would be an advantage.
• Knowledge & experience with design, specification, configuration and test of OT & IT.
• Demonstrated ability to engage & communicate well to teams & stakeholders.
• A proactive, agile approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
• A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Eager to learn about new technologies & different business domains within renewable energy.
• Ability to thrive & perform in a complex and diverse organizational set-up.
• As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints plus capturing lessons learned.
• Manage and refine project timelines, budgets, risks and resources – transparency being key.
• Coordinating & act as the bridge between the engineering team and internal & external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of technical issues for seamless project execution.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards and manage all project deliverables are including quality and EHS compliance, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously identify, assess, and mitigate risks while leveraging opportunities to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Ensure business success and customer satisfaction through professional project and stakeholder management while always maximizing value creation – a ‘win-win’ mentality.
• Consistently contribute to internal process and team improvement initiatives within the Digital Engineering Project Management team.

In this role, you will lead projects that support our mission to deliver high-quality solutions and continuous improvements across our organization.

As we are growing, we are looking for an additional member to help us deliver exciting projects, within the fields of Operation Technology (OT) anchored in SCADA, all enabling the path towards a fossil-free future.

You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders from various backgrounds and locations, ensuring effective communication and smooth project execution. In addition, you will be working closely with maintenance and operations teams to optimize the handover of the projects, always with focus on the asset security, efficiency - performance and reliability & value realization.

• Relevant work experience and competencies within a combination of onshore & offshore technology, high voltage electrical systems and construction projects, OT & IT technical project/program management skills from the Wind, BESS or PV industry would be an advantage.
