DevOps Engineer – Unity Technologies

Are you a visionary DevOps Engineer with a keen focus on driving modern infrastructure through Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and advanced CI/CD practices? At Unity Technologies IT Engineering, you will be pivotal in evolving our global, multi‑cloud environment. This includes architecting and managing highly available, containerized solutions, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes (specifically GKE), and integrating AI tooling to enhance efficiency. Your expertise will directly shape the dynamic IT infrastructure that empowers Unity’s engineering teams to create groundbreaking software utilized by millions of developers worldwide.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Build containerized applications and manage Kubernetes clusters, focusing on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for rapid deployment.
• Drive automation across all aspects of IT infrastructure and operations to minimize manual effort, improve reliability, and enhance the user experience.
• Explore and implement AI tooling to improve operational efficiency, security, and predictive maintenance capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Expertise with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization technologies.
• Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong background working in a cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Ability to write high‑quality, production‑grade code in languages like Python or Go for automation and service development.

You Might Also Have

• Experience developing or integrating AI/ML tooling.
• Familiarity with observability practices, including logging, metrics, and alerting (Elastic Stack, Prometheus/Grafana).
• Expertise in troubleshooting and performance optimization of complex services in high‑traffic Linux production environments.
• Experience with cloud‑native services and database infrastructure automation (SQL/NoSQL).
• Ownership mindset to drive technical roadmaps and initiatives, with excellent collaboration skills in a multi‑region team.

Compensation

Gross pay monthly: DKK 53,283 – DKK 66,608

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, the role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in incentive plans (e.g., discretionary bonuses or commissions). Final offers depend on factors such as location, experience, and skill set.
