Job summary

VENZO in Denmark seeks a Senior Data Profile who blends deep data expertise with a product mindset to own data products and capabilities for clients. You’ll combine hands-on data/AI delivery with technical product ownership, shaping data platforms built for governance, quality, and scale.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business stakeholders, defining KPIs and roadmaps, and driving data mesh and lakehouse principles, while exploring new tech in the data stack.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, IS, Engineering, Math, Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years delivering production-ready data solutions.
• Experience as technical Product Owner or technical lead on data products or BI platforms.
• Hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle—ingestion, modelling, consumption, governance.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritise data product backlogs with stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into structured data solutions with governance.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with data mesh/lakehouse principles.
• Act as the bridge between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders.
• Define KPIs, success criteria, and roadmaps for data products.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance standards are embedded by design.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies within the modern data stack.
