Job summary

Linkfire is seeking an experienced data platform engineer to own and evolve our data pipelines. You will build production-grade Python services and maintain Snowflake-driven pipelines, with test coverage and monitoring in place.

You’ll contribute to AI-driven data investigations and work with product managers to embed data in features from idea to production. We value curiosity, T-shaped skills, and a strong bias for practical, scalable design.

Qualifications

• Five or more years building production data pipelines.
• Strong Python expertise and maintainable service design.
• Deep experience with a cloud data warehouse in production, ideally Snowflake.
• Hands-on with Airflow and orchestrators; comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes and Argo CD.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform end-to-end, helping evolve and steer it.
• Build and maintain production data pipelines on Snowflake and Airflow with tests and monitoring.
• Develop AI agents to automate repetitive data investigations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers early to embed data in features.
• Take requests from idea to production, managing data sources and pipelines.
• Model data for easy analysis and reporting; support dashboards used by analysts.
• Document, test, and standardise workflows and retire unused components.
