Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape AI adoption across our climate solutions by building a scalable Databricks platform. You will empower global sales with data-driven insights, focusing on governance, security, and high-quality data products.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to scale AI adoption and deliver measurable value across markets. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms including Unity Catalog and data governance practices.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with hands-on experience building scalable data models and modern ETL pipelines.
• Proven ability to design and manage data platforms that enable analytics or AI use cases in a business environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, translating data and AI capabilities into practical business solutions.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills and a proactive interest in applying emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer - AI & Databricks , you will help shape how AI is adopted across Danfoss Climate Solutions, especially within our global sales organization.

Working as part of a global team of data, analytics, and AI professionals, you will build and evolve a trusted, scalable, and well-governed Databricks platform that enables sales teams across multiple regions and functions to turn data into actionable insights. Your work will support use cases such as sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and customer insights, helping teams make faster, data-driven decisions.

By ensuring the platform is secure, high-quality, and continuously improving, you will enable reliable data products and Generative AI solutions that drive business value. Working closely with data engineers, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will help establish best practices and scale AI adoption across the organization.

Success in this role means delivering trusted, AI-ready data products that strengthen governance, accelerate AI adoption, and support better business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing
