Job summary

You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting safety and quality standards. You will lead design efforts, prepare budgets, obtain permits, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering or construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Experience obtaining permits and approvals from local authorities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan construction projects based on client requirements and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for proposed projects.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
• Oversee construction progress to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other professionals to resolve issues during construction.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential problems or delays.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Complete project documentation including reports and drawings.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients as needed.
