Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer – AI Tooling Infrastructure based in Denmark. You will build, operate, and scale backend services powering AI-driven developer tools, including MCP servers, agent skills, and AI assistants.

You will own service architecture, implement SLOs, and collaborate with SRE and security teams to improve reliability and security. The role emphasizes hands-on ownership, production-grade systems, and a globally distributed, asynchronous team culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating production backend services.
• Strong programming in TypeScript or Go with the other language working knowledge.
• Experience designing APIs with versioning, error handling, rate limiting, and backward compatibility.
• Expertise in OAuth, OIDC, JWT and API authorization for production.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, containers, and IaC.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems using metrics, logs, and traces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, operate, and scale backend services for AI tooling.
• Own service architecture and reliability improvements.
• Define SLOs, monitor error budgets, work with SRE.
• Handle on-call incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Design secure auth systems for AI agents and machine clients.
• Improve observability with metrics, tracing, dashboards.
• Collaborate with Platform, Security, Billing, Edge Teams.
