Job description

Our transportation company in Odense is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver for a seasonal position. As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations within specified timeframes. This is a demanding but rewarding job that requires strong driving skills and the ability to navigate through different road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive long distances while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
• Plan routes and make necessary adjustments based on traffic or weather conditions
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips, reporting any issues to management
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance and accident reporting
• Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Valid commercial drivers license CDL with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
• High school diploma or equivalent 12 pass
• Ability to operate manual transmissions and handle heavy loads
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) is preferred
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers

We offer competitive pay of $1600 per month for this seasonal position. As our employee you will also receive a free visa and ticket. Accommodation will not be provided, so local candidates are preferred. However, we are open to considering non-local candidates who are willing to find their own accommodation during the season.
