Job summary

Westernacher Consulting GmbH is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) expert to lead end-to-end transformations in logistics across international projects. You will own both functional and technical configuration, drive process design, and coordinate cross-module integration with ERP, EWM, GTS, and EM.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in SAP TM, strong leadership, pre-sales experience, and proven global delivery. English and Danish communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9–10+ years of relevant experience in SAP Transportation Management.
• Proven track record in leading complex SAP transformation projects.
• Functional and/or technical proficiency with at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong cross-module expertise to design robust end-to-end logistics solutions.
• Strong configuration and solution design skills with a holistic architectural mindset.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, including C‑level interaction.
• Experience across multiple industries with logistics and transportation processes.
• Strong experience in pre-sales and business development activities.
• Strategic thinking with project and solution leadership capabilities.
• SAP certifications in TM are an advantage.
• Experience in Public Cloud is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP integration tools like Signavio, LeanIX, SAP Cloud ALM, WalkMe.
• Commitment to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and building capabilities.
• Designs AI-enabled SAP solutions conceptually (automation, embedded AI, analytics).
• Evaluates AI use cases, risks, and governance with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAPTM transformations within a consultant project team.
• Take ownership of configuration and related integration as lead configuration expert.
• Deliver SAP TM process design solutions incl. customizing, docs and testing.
• Integrate with ERP, EWM, GTS and EM modules.
• Lead customer workshops and blueprints.
• Prepare functional specs and support go-live readiness.
• Prepare new SAP systems for go-live and stabilize new processes.
• Participate in pre-sales activities.

Job description

You work on SAP consulting projects focused on logistics and transportation, designing and implementing solutions based on SAP Transportation Management. You take ownership of defined work streams and contribute to high‑quality, end‑to‑end SAP implementations in international project environments. You collaborate closely with customers and project teams to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver SAPTM transformations within a consultant project team
• Take ownership of all technical and functional aspects of configuration and related integration elements as the lead configuration expert
• Deliver SAP TM process design solutions incl. customizing, documentation and testing
• Integration with other SAP Modules (ERP, EWM, GTS, EM)
• Lead customer workshops
• Prepare blueprint and functional specifications
• Take part intest conduction process and go-live
• Preparenew SAP systems for go-live; support new transportationprocesses & resolve issues as part ofthestabilization period
• Participate in pre-sales activities

Your skills and experience:
