Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a highly skilled bilingual Danish–English specialist to help train AI models. In this independent contractor role, you will craft realistic prompts, assess AI outputs with a native-sounding ear, and explain judgments with clear reasoning from your language expertise.

You will work across translation, localization, conversation, and educational content tasks, ensuring tone, register, and cultural context are accurate.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Danish and English.
• Excellent grammar, style, and tone in both languages.
• Ability to explain judgments in writing.
• Experience in translation, interpretation, teaching, editing, travel or bilingual work is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Write challenging, realistic prompts and conversations in Danish and English, drawn from your own experience (translation, customer support, travel itinerary, lesson plan).
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and adherence to requests.
• Compare two AI responses to the same prompt and decide which performed better and where they fell short.
• Critique AI-generated translations, conversations, summaries and written content, and explain your reasoning clearly.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence such as mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, grammar errors, cultural missteps, or ignored instructions.
• Contribute across a wide range of language tasks and subject areas.
