Job summary

ByteGrid Talent Services is assisting a family in Odense, Denmark by seeking a reliable babysitter to provide occasional childcare.

The ideal candidate will supervise children, prepare snacks, engage in age-appropriate activities, help with homework, and maintain a safe, tidy environment. Flexible hours including evenings or weekends are welcome.

CPR and First Aid certifications are requested; English fluency is required with Danish a plus. The role is contract-based and paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a babysitter or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication in English; Danish language skills are a plus.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to multitask and handle emergency situations calmly.
• Must be reliable punctual and responsible.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in the absence of their parents.
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children according to their dietary needs.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities with the children such as reading, playing games, or doing arts and crafts.
• Help with homework or school assignments as needed.
• Ensure the safety of the children at all times.
• Maintain a clean and tidy play area.
• Communicate effectively with parents about any issues or concerns that may arise.
