You will work at the intersection of compliance, commercial strategy, and global affairs, advising on blocking statutes, human rights, and reputational risk while engaging senior stakeholders across a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in sanctions, export controls or financial crime.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
• Experience navigating high-risk, fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on sanctions and export controls matters, including defence-related activities.
• Partner with commercial teams to support government contracts and bids, treating compliance as a value driver.
• Assess regulatory risks related to controlled and sensitive commodities.
• Enable risk-based decision-making across transactions, customers, routes, and markets.
• Monitor geopolitical developments and translate them into actionable insights for the business.
• Advise senior leadership and support investor-facing discussions on sensitive topics.
