Job summary

You will own and drive the operational purchasing agenda, build a capable team, and implement best practices in line with business needs. Strong leadership and a hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience from operational purchasing and Supply Chain.
• Experience leading people and understanding purchasing impact on planning, production, inventory and delivery.
• Structured and hands-on, owns and drives processes and daily execution.
• Motivation to develop and professionalize the purchasing function and take long-term ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the regional purchasing team.
• Drive daily purchasing execution, supplier follow-up and expediting.
• Manage shortages, delayed deliveries and operational escalations.
• Establish clear priorities, KPIs and a strong daily/weekly management rhythm.
• Develop and implement effective purchasing processes and best practices.
• Work closely with Planning, Order Management, Production, Procurement and other Supply Chain functions.
• Use ERP data, root-cause thinking and continuous improvement to strengthen flow, predictability and performance.
• Be an active part of the global Supply Chain function.
