Job summary

BEUMER Group in Aarhus is seeking a Software Engineer for Vision and Robotics to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for modular robotics platforms. You will work with the TPO and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and architecture standards, while training stakeholders and enabling site integration.

You will contribute to 3D vision, point cloud processing, and AI-enabled robotics, collaborating with Electrical, Mechanical and Automation disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience developing real-time applications in C# and Python.
• Expertise in classical computer vision and 3D geometry, with a focus on point cloud processing and object recognition.
• Experience or interest in machine learning and signal processing relevant to vision and robotics.
• Experience with software architectures such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of high-level integration with robotic systems and interfaces between software components and robotic controls.

Responsibilities

• Improve software products related to vision and robotics and support their use in projects.
• Maintain and develop software applications per operating model and standards.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, and architectural guidelines.
• Provide input to automation strategy and define product requirements with the business.
• Test and validate functionalities on local test loops or sites.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to select technologies for automation and system integration.
