Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S in Copenhagen, Denmark is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to assure security across IT/OT systems within rail operations. You will define security requirements, drive hardening, vulnerability responses and evidence management to support design maturity, approvals and operational readiness.

The role requires more than 5 years in OT/rail cybersecurity, strong knowledge of IEC 62443/NIS-style principles, and the ability to balance safety, availability and maintainability

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity experience in rail, industrial control or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443/NIS-style principles, secure architecture and vulnerability management.
• Ability to balance security controls with safety, availability and maintainability.
• Resilience under security findings and late configuration changes.
• Confidentiality and ethical judgment in security decisions.
• 5+ years in OT/rail/industrial cybersecurity and security-by-design.

Responsibilities

• Define cybersecurity management plan, security requirements and evidence strategy.
• Coordinate cybersecurity across systems, remote access and supplier configurations.
• Review designs, accounts, logging and vulnerability handling.
• Plan security tests and handover requirements for operator security teams.
• Assess cybersecurity impact of changes and remote-support proposals.
