Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S is seeking a Construction Manager to plan and coordinate railway construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage site readiness, installations, and interfaces with suppliers and test teams.

The role requires more than 7 years in rail or infrastructure leadership, strong RAMS/ITP knowledge, and a proven ability to drive productivity without compromising safety. A hybrid work arrangement and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Construction or installation management experience in rail, telecoms, electrical or infrastructure works.
• Strong understanding of permits, RAMS, inspections, site sequencing and subcontractor control.
• Ability to drive productivity without compromising safety or quality.
• Resilience under site constraints, access windows and rework pressure.
• Visible leadership and disciplined record control.
• 7+ years in construction/installation leadership on complex rail or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control daily/weekly construction activities and workforce deployment.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, RAMS, ITPs, permits and HSE controls.
• Coordinate materials readiness, site interfaces and handover to testing.
• Lead problem-solving, NCR correction, rework control and risk escalation.
• Maintain progress evidence, installation records and commissioning readiness.
