Novo Holdings A/S is seeking an Associate to join its Quantum Investment team in Copenhagen. You will play a central role across the full investment lifecycle - from sourcing and evaluating opportunities, through transaction execution and due diligence, to active ownership and portfolio value creation.

Qualifications

• PhD in quantum information science, theoretical physics, computer science or applied mathematics.
• Post-PhD experience in startups, consulting, software or hardware preferred.
• Genuine interest in startups and venture capital is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration in an international environment.
• Self-motivated with a structured, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate quantum investment opportunities from sourcing to due diligence.
• Prepare investment memos and market landscape materials under guidance.
• Contribute insights on quantum algorithms and conduct due diligence.
• Help build Novo Holdings' network and deal flow across Europe.
• Support board-related work and portfolio follow-up.
• Contribute to building the Novo Holdings Quantum brand across the ecosystem.
• Collaborate with the broader Novo Holdings organization globally.
