You’ll play an important role in:
  • ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and operational stability of end-of-day calculations for the gas portfolio

  • connecting portfolio results with risk metrics and explaining the calculations used in risk reporting

To succeed in the role, you:
  • have a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, finance, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience
  • apply mathematical and statistical knowledge to practical business questions and can investigate results with accuracy and attention to detail
  • have programming experience and can work confidently with financial domain specific languages, quantitative models, and calculation tools
  • communicate complex technical concepts clearly and patiently to both technical and non-technical colleagues
