Job summary

ABB Denmark seeks an experienced Project Procurement Manager to shape the future of project procurement. You will lead a local Procurement team, collaborate with sales, tender, engineering, and suppliers to ensure early engagement and value creation throughout the project lifecycle.

Based in Ballerup or Middelfart with option to work from home a few days weekly, you will develop governance, drive supplier relationships, and manage risk and performance to support commercial targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in project procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Experience leading a procurement function in a project-based environment.
• Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders across functions.
• Proven track record building and managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Project Procurement Specialists, ensuring effective support of tendering and project execution.
• Define and implement the future project procurement framework for ABB Denmark.
• Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers and ensure early supplier involvement in tender and sales activities.
• Collaborate with sales and tender teams to support proposals through market insight and supplier engagement.
• Build and maintain a project supplier matrix covering strategic suppliers and critical capabilities.
• Facilitate supplier meetings and relationship-building activities in early-phase discussions.
• Develop procurement governance, processes, and stakeholder engagement models across the organization.
• Lead project procurement activities from tender through execution, aligned with objectives and targets.
• Manage commercial risks, supplier performance, and value-creation opportunities across the supply chain.
