Job summary

Karnov Group Denmark A/S seeks a Product Portfolio Manager to bridge business strategy and technical execution, turning market opportunities into valuable products. You will lead product discovery for local and group offerings.

You will collaborate with Product Operations, Insights, UX & Design, and editorial, sales and marketing, owning stakeholder alignment and prioritization. You will also represent DK in group AI product initiatives.

About the job | Product Discovery | Manage product lifecycles

As a Product Portfolio Manager at Karnov DK, you have two main tasks. You execute product discovery for both local and group products in close collaboration with our Product Operations, Insights, and UX & Design teams. The other main task is product portfolio management, ensuring we have a high-performing product offering that satisfies a broad range of customers.

You will spend your time talking to customers, analyzing product and user data, and prioritizing problems and solutions for implementation. You will also spend time with many internal stakeholders. Our editorial departments deliver all the content that is the foundation of our products. Our sales and marketing teams must be able to bring these products to the market. You act as the liaison between these departments to ensure communication flows. This applies to the DK organization. Furthermore, you are the DK representative for the group AI products, which means you are one of four Product Portfolio Managers who sit with the Group Product Team and prioritize the AI implementations needed to deliver the best possible group AI products. The other countries are Sweden, France and Spain. You report to Director of Product Management and Project Portfolio.

About you | Experience in product management | Domain expertise.

You leverage your proven experience in Product Management, combined with your ability to manage stakeholders across countries and departments. You are comfortable operating in an empowered environment, making decisions and owning trade-offs. You are happy to engage with customers and seek to understand their problems in order to identify product solutions to those problems.

We expect you to be strong in product discovery and to have experience with methods such as Marty Cagan's product operating model or Teresa Torres's continuous discovery habits. We have an operating model at Karnov where we value user insights and build our roadmaps with a focus on delivering valuable customer outcomes.

To manage the product portfolio, you will need some domain expertise. We serve lawyers, public institutions, ministries, municipalities, etc. Users who need the law and a lot of content around the law. We deliver this as raw content, curated content, and as AI products that support research and workflows. We expect you to have experience in this field.
