Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of precision tools and machines such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machinery and equipment according to technical specifications
• Use precision tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
• Install bearings gears shafts belts chains etc
• Test machinery for proper functioning
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during assembly or installation
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
