Job summary

BaseDynamics in Denmark is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to drive and operate heavy equipment for digging, moving, and leveling earth on construction sites. You will work closely with site teams to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely, following project plans and timelines.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, proven heavy equipment experience, and the ability to read plans.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with excavation techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read project plans and follow instructions.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to move earth, rocks and other materials according to project plans.
• Safely load and unload materials using the excavator’s bucket or attachments.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious completion.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on the excavator to ensure good condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the excavator.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities including materials moved and hours worked.
