Job summary
Ørsted in Denmark seeks a Senior Trading & Revenue Analyst to develop actionable trading views across European power markets, focusing on North-West Europe and the UK. You’ll work with our Senior Trader on the Revenue Desk to convert market analysis into hedging and proprietary trading guidance.
You'll join Price Forecasting & Analysis, a team of analysts and model developers, focusing on market research, trading support, and knowledge sharing to grow trading PnL.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering trading-driven market research and recommendations in power markets.
- Proven track record supporting hedging and prop trading decisions.
- Strong understanding of European power market forwards, options and curve dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills; ability to justify market views.
Responsibilities
- Developing and communicating actionable trading views on European power markets
- Identifying fundamental shifts and translating them into trading recommendations
- Collaborating with internal and external analysts to refine market views
- Mentoring and educating colleagues on power market dynamics
- Improving our products including price forecasts and trading signals
- Contributing to growing our trading PnL.
