Job summary

Qualifications

• Appointment as postdoc requires academic qualifications at PhD level.
• Doctoral degree in an area closely related to production concept development, changeable manufacturing systems or reconfigurable manufacturing systems.
• Communicate confidently in spoken and written English and present technical results clearly to academic and industrial audiences.
• Work independently and systematically on complex modelling tasks while collaborating across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Investigate how virtual engineering can support decisions beyond optimising existing production setups.
• Build and assess scenarios for new production concepts at an early stage with simulations and data verification at plant level.
• Develop and demonstrate a fast decision machine for early aseptic production decisions.
• Collaborate with academic and industrial partners and communicate findings to stakeholders.
