Job summary

University of Copenhagen invites a veterinary microbiologist to join the OHAR group for a 2-year postdoc starting 01-01-2027. You will work on antimicrobial stewardship, design of diagnostic protocols, and evidence-based guidelines, coordinating activities across WP1, WP7, expert groups, and the SOA36 programme.

You will supervise PhD/MSc/BSc students, coordinate management activities, and participate in training on evidence-based guideline development using GRADE.

Qualifications

• MSc in Veterinary Medicine required; PhD in Veterinary Microbiology preferred.
• Postdoctoral experience and outstanding publication record required.
• Experience supervising PhD, MSc and BSc students is essential.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage collaborative research projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to OHAR and BEST-VET research activities in pigs.
• Coordinate work packages and expert groups; support project management.
• Supervise students in laboratory research and training.
• Develop evidence-based clinical guidelines using the GRADE approach.
