A postdoctoral position is available in the Skrydstrup group, Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University, Denmark. Qualifications

  • PhD in synthetic chemistry or similar.
  • Strong background in organic synthesis and transition metal catalysis.
  • Familiar with organometallic chemistry and synthesis of organometallic complexes.
  • Experience with plastic recycling technologies.
  • Good communication skills with experience writing publications.
  • Experience with international collaborations.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development of catalytic methods based on transition metal catalysis for thermoset plastic recycling.
  • Focus on different catalytic processes and understanding reaction mechanisms.
  • Engage in independent and collaborative projects on deconstruction of thermoset plastics.
  • Collaborate closely with Skrydstrup Group members working in this field.
