Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field (agronomy, soil science, data science, environmental sciences, engineering, agroecology or related).
• Experience with models and handling large datasets is essential.
• Strong scientific writing and publishing track record is required.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a model-based approach for national N2O emissions inventory.
• Create and update spatio-temporal soil, cropping and field management data.
• Build and manage data pipelines for inventory calculations.
• Assess inventories against alternative approaches and explore mitigation scenarios.
