DTU – Technical University of Denmark seeks a highly motivated researcher with a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and a strong track record in electrocatalysis. Job description

Qualifications

The successful candidate is well-motivated, hardworking, and willing/able to work as part of a team. The candidate must hold a PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science and a profound experience/insight in electrocatalysis. Here it is absolute mandatory that the candidate has extensive experience with synthesizing/characterization/testing of electrocatalysts. Experience with optimizing loadings, measurements of corrosion phenomena using ICP-MS, and water electrolysis in general, including surface science methods, is considered an advantage.

As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

Salary and terms of employment

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. In addition, supplements can be negotiated in accordance with DTU’s salary structure for scientific staff: www.inside.dtu.dk/en/human-resources/during-employment/salary/salary-structures.

The period of employment is 1 year. The position is available from 1 November 2026, but for the optimal candidate later dates may be negotiated.
