Job summary

The Department of Computer Science (DIKU), University of Copenhagen, invites applications for a 24-month postdoctoral fellowship in stochastic models of morphology evolution as part of the morphAI project. The postdoc will perform research in relation to morphAI and will have limited teaching duties.

Start date is approximately August 1, 2027. The ideal candidate will have a PhD and a strong publication record, with expertise in stochastic models, shape analysis, and numerical implementation,

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field and strong publication record.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematics and ML to morphology.
• Experience with numerical algorithms and software implementations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research within morphAI on stochastic models of morphology evolution.
• Participate in limited teaching duties.
