Job description

The Postdoctoral Researcher position focuses on energy system analysis and tool development, with particular emphasis on energy system modelling across multiple scales (European, national, regional) and the application of energy systems analysis within a problem-based learning (PBL) environment. The candidate will contribute to a number of research and educational projects, strengthening the integration of research activities with the development of teaching materials and learning activities for bachelor-level courses. Therefore, it is expected that the candidate can teach in Danish.
The use of the energy systems simulation models EnergyPLAN and EnergyPRO is a cornerstone in the work, thus experience with this tool and model linking with other tools is a pivotal strength for applications to this position. Applicants with a relevant background or experience with other system analysis tools are also encouraged to apply for this position.
The position includes teaching and supervision responsibilities within the field of energy systems and sustainability, primarily in the bachelor programmes offered by the Department of Sustainability and Planning.
