Job summary

DTU Compute is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to advance cyber-deception and adaptive cyber defense within the PSYFIND project. You will conduct independent, data-driven security research collaborating with international partners and publish in leading venues.

The position is fully funded for two years, starting January 2027 or by mutual agreement, with a full-time contract under the Danish collective agreement for scientific staff. Proposals from international applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or closely related field.
• Strong background in cybersecurity and empirical/experimental research.
• Excellent publication record in leading venues is expected.
• Ability to collaborate with academic and research partners.
• Excellent written and spoken English is important.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research in cyber-deception and adaptive cyber defense.
• Design and implement experimental cyber-deception systems and methods.
• Collaborate with academic and research partners.
• Contribute to the research activities of the cyber-deception group.
• Opportunity to co-supervise MSc thesis projects related to the research.
