Job summary

A postdoctoral position in Biochemical and functional characterization of milk-derived extracellular vesicles is available at Aarhus University. Qualifications

  • PhD in molecular biology or a closely related field.
  • Experience isolating and characterizing extracellular vesicles (e.g., size-exclusion chromatography, density-gradient centrifugation, NTA, immunoblotting, or nanoflow cytometry).
  • Practical expertise in advanced imaging or single-particle analysis (e.g., cryo-EM/TEM, TIRF microscopy, single-vesicle tracking, confocal microscopy, or high-sensitivity flow cytometry).
  • Excellent English communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international setting.

Responsibilities

  • Isolate and characterize milk-derived extracellular vesicles, especially from bovine sources.
  • Analyze RNA cargo and perform bioinformatic analyses of small RNAs and transcriptomic data.
  • Collaborate with animal model and clinical study teams to translate biology into nutrition interventions.
  • Prepare data for high-quality publications and project reports.
