Then the Skrydstrup Group at the Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University invites you to apply for a 1-year Post Doctoral position (37 hours/week) starting from February 1st, 2027.
This is a 1-year Post Doctoral position (37 hours/week) from 01.02.2027.
You will be contributing to the development of catalytic methods based on transition metal catalysis applied to the conversion of specific plastic types to carbon capture materials.
The position will focus on different catalytic processes and improving their performance for upscaling the production of CO2 capture materials, and then their combined use in CO2 capture and conversion.
You will be involved in independent and collaborative projects dealing with the combined carbon capture and conversion.
These activities will be in close collaboration with other members of the CORC research centre working in the field of CO2 capture and utilisation.
The candidate will be part of the Skrydstrup group , an international group consisting of approximately 4 Post Docs and 8 PhD students, among other students and academic and technical staff. The group is part of the Department of Chemistry and the Novo Nordisk Foundation CO2 Research Center ( CORC ).
