Job summary

Acubiz is seeking a dedicated Product Owner to lead the platform side of our expensing and payroll ecosystem. You’ll own the platform backlog, set priorities with the tech lead, and shape roadmaps while ensuring alignment with the customer experience owned by another product team.

You’ll collaborate with engineers to decide what to build, in what order, and how it integrates with AI capabilities, ERP, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Solid product ownership experience in a technical/platform/integration-heavy context.
• Ability to read system architectures and API contracts and work with engineers on trade-offs.
• Track record of prioritising between new capability work and reliability/compliance work.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, REST/API design, or B2B integrations is a strong plus.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in daily work.
• Fluent in Danish or English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage the platform backlog end to end - including sequencing, and roadmap.
• Prioritize jointly with the tech lead, balancing new integration and AI capability work against reliability, security, and compliance needs.
• Set clear goals and acceptance criteria for platform features and integrations, while engineers shape the solutions.
• Own ISAE 3402 and ISAE 3000 compliance work as an ongoing product priority.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and align platform priorities with theExpense experience.

About the role

Our platform, AI capabilities, ERP and payroll integrations, and the cloud infrastructure everything else runs on, have grown to the point where they need a dedicated Product Owner. Until now, one PO has carried the full Acubiz solution; from here on, the customer-facing product experience and the underlying platform split into two separate scopes. You'll own the platform side: its backlog, its priorities, and its roadmap, working alongside a team of 5-6 engineers.

You'll work closely with our tech lead and engineers on which problems to solve, what gets built, and in what order. You'll also coordinate regularly with the product owner responsible for the customer experience, keeping platform priorities aligned with what the rest of the product needs.

You'll report to Daniel Elkjær, Director of Innovation and Technology.

What you'll do

• Manage the platform backlog end to end - incl. sequencing, and roadmap
• Prioritize jointly with our tech lead, balancing new integration and AI capability work against reliability, security, and compliance needs
• Set clear goals and acceptance criteria for platform features and integrations, while engineers shape the solutions
• Own our ISAE 3402 and ISAE 3000 compliance work as an ongoing product priority, not a one-off project
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate closely with the product owner for the Expense experience, so platform and customer-facing priorities stay aligned

What we're looking for

• Solid product ownership experience in a technical, platform, or integration-heavy context
• Comfort reading system architecture, API contracts, and data models well enough to understand trade-offs and work with engineers to find the right solutions
• A track record of making priority calls between new capability work and reliability/compliance work, and defending those calls to stakeholders
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, REST/API design, or B2B integrations is a strong plus
• Genuine, hands-on use of AI tools in your daily work
• Continuous learner who always strives to improve the way we work
• Fluent Danish or English, spoken and written
