Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Planning Expert focused on site scheduling to support the rollout of a new scheduling system and related processes. You will train site schedulers across sites, becoming an expert in SAP PPDS and translating it into practical ways of working that improve planning effectiveness.

You will join a central project team transforming planning across markets, collaborating with IT, and delivering high-quality training materials and sessions.

Qualifications

• Extensive planning experience as a production planner or site scheduler.
• Extensive experience in SAP PPDS in APO.
• Strong understanding of master data related to PPDS.
• Desire and ability to train others.
• Clear and confident English communication; both written and spoken.
• Ability to produce high-quality training materials in English.
• Continuous improvement mindset; challenges existing ways of working.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Train site schedulers in the use of the new system.

We are looking for a Planning Expert in the area of site scheduling to support our roll out programme of the new scheduling system and its associated processes, as part of a central project team.

How you will make an impact

In this role, you will be responsible for training the site schedulers across the different sites as part of the overall roll out program. By becoming an expert in our system module of choice, SAP ePPDS, you will be able to train others in the use of the system as well the ways of working that accompany it. Your primary responsibility is to deliver this in a way that enables the site schedulers to adapt and thrive in their new system environment, so they can plan effectively, optimize within the system and therefore provide a great service within this crucial area of the supply chain.
