Job summary

The PhD student will work in the Cybersecurity group and collaborate with the AI:SECURITY LAB, addressing secure distributed learning, cryptographic protections, and defenses against model extraction in NLP systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in information engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, software engineering or related field.
• Interest in AI security and privacy-preserving ML research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Join the AAU cybersecurity group to research secure and privacy-preserving collaborative language models.
• Develop frameworks for multi-party training and inference with data confidentiality.
• Explore privacy and cryptographic techniques for secure distributed training and deployment.
• Collaborate with AI:SECURITY LAB and department colleagues on real-world use cases.
