The University of Copenhagen invites applications for a PhD fellowship in foliar application of nanozymes within the Plant Nutrition Research Group. Start date is January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is a 3-year, full-time PhD under the 5+3 scheme, contingent upon enrollment at the PhD School. Applicants should hold a Danish master’s degree or equivalent and have a strong interest in plant science, nanotechnology and advanced imaging.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (180 ECTS/3 FTE BSc + 120 ECTS/2 FTE MSc)
• Publications relevant to the project
• Interest in plant science, nanotechnology and imaging

Responsabilités

• Carry out an independent research project under supervision
• Complete PhD courses ~30 ECTS / ½ FTE
• Possibly spend time at another research institution, preferably abroad
• Teaching and knowledge dissemination activities
• Write scientific papers for high-impact journals
• Write and defend a PhD thesis based on the project
