Job summary

Aalborg University’s Faculty of Medicine invites applications for PhD stipends in health system innovation within the Health Science and Technology department. Appointments start January 1, 2027 or soon after and run for three years.

The PhD fellow will join an international research community and engage with hospitals, general practice, municipalities and public-sector partners. You will develop cross-sectoral care pathways for chronic disease, contribute to data collection and analysis, and

Qualifications

Master's degree within health sciences or related field.
Well-developed skills in conducting research, analysing data and disseminating results.
Interest in chronic disease management and cross-sectoral collaboration.
Structured and systematic approach with quality as guiding principle.
Advanced language skills in Danish and English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Contribute to cross-sectoral health care pathways project and prototype development.
Involved in data collection, data analysis and dissemination of findings.
Collaborate with hospitals, municipalities, civil society organisations and researchers.
Affiliation with the Doctoral School in Medicine, Biomedical Science and Technology; complete PhD courses (30 ECTS).
Support career development and knowledge dissemination within the department.
