Job summary

DTU Space at the Lyngby Campus in Denmark is seeking a Part-time Tech Entrepreneur in Residence to coach space-tech startups within the ESA BIC Denmark network. The role is hands-on and will be based at DTU Lyngby, reporting to the DTU Space Ventures manager.

You will work up to 15 hours per week, engage with regional startups, build partnerships, and participate in national and international space events. Starting from 1 January 2027, a flexible schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching deep‑tech startups and commercial development.
• Strong technical educational background enabling quick domain onboarding (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, materials).
• Sales/business experience targeting major industry players (aerospace/defense or similar).
• Entrepreneurial experience in startups or Danish startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Coach space-tech startups and ESA BIC DK alumni on navigating the space market.
• Help startups scale through corporate collaborations, PPPs, and VC funding.
• Support ESA BIC DK in relationships with space investors.
• Assist startups in assessing space-connection for program applications.
• Represent ESA BIC DK at conferences/events in DK and abroad.
