Milestone Systems is seeking a Student Assistant for the Emerging Products – Research team at our Brøndby, Denmark headquarters. You will support product-driven research across machine learning, computer vision, video analytics, and related AI technologies while learning from experienced researchers and engineers.

The role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge AI, opportunities to contribute to prototype development, and flexible working arrangements to support your studies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with ML/vision frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV.
• Able to read research papers and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support ML, CV, video analytics research and Responsible AI.
• Develop, test, document prototypes and pipelines.
• Prepare and annotate datasets for experiments.
• Run experiments and summarize results clearly.
• Review literature and translate insights to the team.
• Create technical docs, demos, and summaries.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on new ideas.
• Contribute to collaborative research culture.
