TransaLink in Copenhagen is seeking a skilled Fitter for a part-time role (≈20 hours/week). You will assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes, pumps, valves, and motors, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running.

Job description

We are searching for a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team on a part-time basis in Copenhagen As a Fitter you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical components as well as performing maintenance and repairs on existing equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes pumps valves and motors
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with machinery or equipment
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to working with machinery
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English
• Danish language proficiency is a plus
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments

Working Hours

This is a part-time position with an average of 20 hours per week. The specific schedule will be determined based on project needs.

Salary

The salary for this position is $1400 per month paid bi-weekly.
