Job summary

SmartAgro is seeking a part-time Crane Operator for our Greenland site. You will operate, inspect, and maintain cranes, coordinating with ground crews to ensure safe lifting and placement of materials on construction sites.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of crane experience and a valid crane operator certification. We offer accommodation and flexible, part-time hours, with a supportive team environment for safety-first operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of crane operator experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate different types of cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower and overhead cranes according to safety regulations and manufacturers instructions.
• Inspect crane before and after each shift to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or damages.
• Communicate with ground crew via hand signals, radio or other communication devices to ensure safe operation of the crane.
• Lift and move materials and equipment to designated locations on construction sites.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
